Therapy for LGBTQIA+ Youth
Services for children and adolescents ages 11-19 in Washington state
Adolescence can be an intense and confusing time—and for LGBTQIA+ youth, it often involves added layers of stress related to identity, acceptance, and belonging. Whether your child is beginning to explore their gender identity or sexual orientation, in the process of coming out, or facing rejection from peers or family, therapy can provide a safe, affirming space to process their experiences and feel truly seen.
I work with LGBTQIA+ youth who may be:
Experiencing anxiety, depression, or mood fluctuations
Navigating identity exploration and the coming out process
Struggling with self-esteem or self-acceptance
Coping with family rejection or lack of understanding
Dealing with bullying, social exclusion, or fear of being “outed”
Processing trauma, grief, or major life transitions
Many LGBTQIA+ youth carry emotional burdens they may not always feel safe sharing at home or school. In therapy, I offer a compassionate, judgment-free space where your child can express themselves authentically, build resilience, and strengthen their ability to cope with life’s challenges.
